CJ Cherryh was apparently the writer for the "Blood of Ten Chiefs" series. Probably explains why I liked it so much. When she stopped writing it, it was Mercedes Lackey who took over. Probably why I kept liking that series so much.
Heh - and Mercedes Lackey said real life "overwhelmed" her and reading for pleasure was one of the things she had to stop. When you write so many books that you need three different publishers to keep up with it all, there's no wonder! Or is it four publishers, now? I think she's writing for a romance imprint as well.
The Elfquest Archive is gorgeous. The coloring is very bright, vibrant, and clearly CG in some bits, but it's a big improvment over the old Starblaze/Donning and Father Tree Press printings. Not that I'll be giving up those hardcovers any time soon.
